Short Course

The course introduces students to the theory and practice of event planning and management. Students will obtain a detailed insight into the exciting world of producing cultural and corporate events. The course will feature the accounts of practitioners in the fields relevant to the planning and execution of a variety of events. A key feature of the course will be a practical immersion where students will be exposed to implementation process involved in the event industry in Jamaica. The course will utilize Jamaica’s rich creative industries, with particular emphasis on entertainment event.
